Where to Stay in Bratislava: Honest Advice

It's easy to get Bratislava wrong. I learned that the hard way when I walked into a hotel near the Old Town square and found myself staring at a brochure that read "Luxury Accommodation for the Discerning Traveler" — only to discover the "luxury" was a single shared bathroom down the hall and a breakfast buffet that consisted of two types of bread.
