Visiting London: The Honest Version

It's easy to get London wrong0. I learned that the hard way on my first morning when I tried to order a proper cup of tea at a café on Borough High Street, only to be handed a lukewarm mug of something that tasted like dishwater. The barista, a local with a look of pity, explained that I’d asked for "builder’s tea," not the delicate Earl Grey I’d been craving. That’s when I realized: London isn’t about the postcard moments.
